What is consciousness? How can the electrical activity of our neurons give rise to the subjectivity of our experiences? Are psychoanalytic concepts about psychological consciousness compatible with what is known today about the human brain? In The Freudian Consciousness, Lia Sanders revisits the work of Sigmund Freud in search of ideas and concepts that can help us understand what remains the greatest mystery of the human mind, psychological consciousness.
