About the author

Andrew Brown KC is a solicitor and defence counsel. He has prosecuted multiple trials in the High Court and has acted as lead counsel before the Supreme Court both for the crown and the defence. He has worked as crown council on a number of high profile cases including the Clutha helicopter crash and the Jim Clark Rallies fatal accident inquiry.Craig Findlater is an Advocate with Blacks Chambers. He has worked with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and has worked on some of the largest and most complicated trials in the High Court of Justiciary for both the prosecution and defence.
