Authenticity, vulnerability, laughter, and risk are at the heart of a life well lived.

While trying to keep up with the hustle and bustle of today's world, we often feel adrift, unmoored from our goals and intentions. We search for an anchor - something to ground us and connect us to ourselves and the ones we hold dear. But the truth is the anchor we seek already exists within us.

In When Big Dogs Die, author Cayla Ross challenges us to reclaim autonomy over our lives by exploring our past. Reminding us that our fondest moments hold tremendous power, Ross helps us understand the connection between our memories and our values. And through a collection of short stories, she asserts that authenticity, vulnerability, and humble love are the conduit through which we can discover the truest version of ourselves. And if we are willing to make the journey, we can change our world.

About the author

Cayla Ross is a driven, stubborn, and observing 22-year-old woman who is building out a shuttle bus with her husband, Caleb, and curly-haired poodle, Willow. A poet at heart and musician by degree, her days are spent playing her many instruments and putting pen to paper whilst barefoot in the grass. Her greatest wish is to inspire authentic love, deeper connections, and a serene stillness through words. You can learn more about her work through her personal museum: TheWorkshop.blog.
