Free school fees and choice of private schools in Togo

In 2008, the State decreed free tuition in all public schools in Togo, in order to reduce the burden of school fees, but despite this, parents still prefer private schools. This situation can be explained by the poor conditions (overcrowding, untimely strikes, etc.) in public schools, while the results of the primary school leaving certificate (CEPD) in private schools are better than in public schools.

Dopo aver conseguito un master presso il dipartimento di tedesco dell'Università di Lomé, ha proseguito gli studi presso l'Institut national des sciences de l'éducation, dove ha ottenuto un master in scienze dell'educazione nel 2017. Nel 2020 si è iscritto al dottorato di ricerca presso l'Università Norbert Zongo (Burkina Faso). Attualmente è insegnante di tedesco presso MAARIF-TOGO.
