About the author

I like the phrase "you can be more than one thing." I am a mom, author, illustrator, nurse, event coordinator, businesswoman, painter, poet, singer, and songwriter. I have two kiddos, ages 13 and 5, and they both love to read or be read to. They are my inspiration. We have been making up stories and creating new adventures for years, and Porcupine and Frog just happens to be one that turned into what I am able to share with you today. It is so important to learn story-making skills at a young age, and the easiest way I have found is through humor and imagination. This book series captures both of those things through creativity and thinking outside the box. Hopefully it will inspire your youngsters whether you are an educator or caretaker.
