It portrays the quality of life (QoL) of deaf users of Libras in Curitiba, Paraná and metropolitan areas, addressing the needs of deaf people in relation to their QoL, because they represent a portion of the population that has a growing need for integration and interaction with other actors of society. However, the lack of linguistic interactions from a common language can be an aggravating factor in their QoL. This book includes the research that aimed to investigate how a group of deaf sign language users perceives their QoL, contributing to the means of collective health may be helping this part of the population. In addition, the book analyzes the factors that influence a more favorable QL for deaf people who use Libras, such as the means of access to information, public health and the laws of inclusion.

Doctorant et titulaire d'une maîtrise en troubles de la communication de l'université Tuiuti, il est diplômé en pédagogie du Centre d'enseignement supérieur de Maringá (2013) et titulaire d'un diplôme de troisième cycle en éducation bilingue de l'Institut paraguayen de la faculté d'enseignement de Maringá. Il travaille comme pédagogue pour le Secrétariat de l'éducation de l'État du Paraná SEED/DEE et interprète fédéral IFPR.
