About the author

I am a UK national, working as a nurse educator in Saudi Arabia and have worked here for numerous years. I am single, and my only family out here consists of a lovely Persian cat!I wanted to do something different, and have realised a life long ambition, and that was to become a children's author. I particularly thought that it was about time that children in Arabia were given something new and innovative to read. This enchanting story is set right in modern times, and is built around of the capital's most newest and fabulous landmarks. Children the world over will enjoy it too, as it's about a little British girl who goes to live in Saudi Arabia with her cat. What an adventure they experience! Got to be seen to be believed! I hope children (and adults it seems, as many are buying it! ) enjoy the lovely story and the really fabulous illustrations, and by the way, i love teaching too!
