About the author
Karin Sternberg, Ph.D., is a research associate at Cornell University. She has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, as well as an MBA with a specialization in banking from the University of Cooperative Education in Karlsruhe, Germany. Karin completed some of her doctoral research at Yale and her postdoctoral work at the University of Connecticut. Afterward, she worked as a research associate at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and School of Public Health. She has held a grant from the National Institutes of Health for the development of a cognitive training program for seniors
