About the author










Karo Omu is the founder of Sanitary Aid Initiative, a non-profit that provides menstrual hygiene education and products for young girls in Nigeria. They have distributed over 50,000 menstrual products till date. Her advocacy in various women and children's issues has been featured in the New York Times and other notable publications. She enjoys writing about parenting and sharing stories of her family. Her daughter's question about the red spot is the inspiration for this book.
