The book's sole purpose is to inform the reader about the dangers of air, water and nature pollution. Wastewater discharged from cities, especially large ones, can cause serious damage to the natural environment. Humans spend 70-90% of their time indoors (living, working, educational institutions) and in various enclosed means of transportation. Some chemical pollutants found indoors have a predominantly external origin. These are for example black fumes (possibly from vehicles). Sites are generally defined as sites where known hazardous substances are detected. Pollution can be localized or diffuse. Point source pollution is characterized by the local presence of a high concentration of hazardous substances not confined in the soil and subsoil. In France, a polluted site is a site which, due to the former deposit or infiltration of dangerous substances, presents a pollution likely to cause a nuisance or a risk for people or the environment. This is the case in Mali and in many other countries as well.
