Using either Super Bulky yarn or 2 strands of Worsted Weight yarn, this crocheted hat is made thick with tighter stitches so it will hold its shape. This lets you make a larger brim for a sun hat and shape the brim to any position you'd like. The hat is certain to be a hit for the warmer weather!
If you have basic crochet skills, you can easily make this project in a single evening. Using basic stitches to make the hat, any extra help needed to crochet the flower is shown with photos.

Originally, I started selling finished beaded jewelry on Etsy and was overjoyed when folks started buying it. It further developed into finished slippers, more jewelry and a variety of unique collectibles and antiques.
Time and life went on and I created a number of unique slippers, texting mitts and jewelry items that no one else was producing. I became a little bored making the same things over and over and finally decided to create my first tutorial on how to make seed bead bracelets. That led me down the road of self publishing. Once bitten by the pattern writing and publishing bug I never looked back.
