The present book entitled "Mozambican Herpetofauna - Art and Work of Biodiversity ", follows from having participated in the Gorongosa Advanced Seminar at Chitengo camp in Gorongosa National Park, organized by the Edward O. Wilson Biodiversity Laboratory, held between November 13 and 18, 2017, led by German herpetologist Dr. Mark Oliver-Rodel. In the book 75 species of amphibians and 197 species of reptiles were systematized, grouped into their families and genus. The book presents scientific names with photographs of almost all systematized amphibians and reptiles, illustrative figures and tables. The book presents 5 chapters and a glossary appendix of herpetology, namely, introduction to herpetology; anatomy and physiology of amphibians; biodiversity of Mozambican amphibians; anatomy and physiology of reptiles; and biodiversity of Mozambican reptiles.
