Informationen zum Autor Barbara Mujica is professor of Spanish at Georgetown University. She has published and lectured widely on early modern Spanish literature, and among her books are eight anthologies of Spanish and Spanish American literature. Her latest novel, Frida, is an international bestseller that has been translated into ten languages. Barbara Mujica provides an ample introduction to the volume in English, placing early modern Spanish women's writting within the broader context of Europe of the time.
