About the author










Jason Hung works as a fellow at the Harvard University Asia Centre and as a visiting fellow at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He is a former global health PhD fellow at the United Nations University and a former intern at Asian Development Bank. Aside from his academic endeavours, he is a freelance columnist and journalist, covering stories about culture, current affairs and economic and political issues in East and Southeast Asian contexts.
