The Inclusion of the discipline of LIBRAS in the School Curriculum - Brazilian Sign Language - Include not Insert!

This active stance of identifying the barriers that deaf students encounter in access to education. The question aims to demonstrate the importance of including the Brazilian Sign Language - LIBRAS as a subject in the school curriculum, respecting and complying with Decree No. 5.626/05. It also aims to clarify how politicians, society, school and family can participate to improve the quality of life of this citizen. Seeing the difficulties experienced by the deaf in their social life motivated us to investigate the problems that deaf students face or may face in their school life and social life.
