Multirate control is commonly used to improve the performance, or for increased computational efficiency of control systems. Multirate control system uses from two to many different rates of response based on various dynamic behaviors of decomposed subsystems. In this book, a set of models of multirate control systems with using the MATLAB for such different original systems as drones with coaxial rotor/ducted fan and vectored thrust configurations was used. All the considered models demonstrated good performance for more fast stabilization of multirate control systems in comparison with single-rate control systems, consequently, economy in battery energy usage for multirate control systems in comparison with original single-rate control systems can be achieved. This book is a valuable resource for all those interested in modeling of control systems for multirotor drones.
