THE UNFORGETTABLE NEW NOVEL FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE SIGHT OF YOU Josh knows he''ll never love anyone like he did Emily, his wife who drowned a year ago. Josh is tormented by grief and regret - old arguments, things he wishes he''d done differently, and the last words he said to Emily, which were spoken in anger. One year ago, shy and retiring Neve was knocked down by a car. She was resuscitated at the scene but Neve''s life since that day has changed beyond recognition. She''s walked out on her husband, quit the job she adored, and to everyone who loves her, seems like a completely different person. When Josh gets chatting to Neve in the waiting room at his therapist''s office, he''s convinced she is Emily, returned to him. Everything about her rings true - her likes and dislikes, her goals and ambitions, her sense of humour . . . Trying to find answers, Josh learns about "walk-ins" - the idea that a person''s soul can leave their body and another soul can "walk in". Josh is convinced this is the case but does he have a second chance to make up for his past mistakes - or is he simply chasing a ghost?
