In this book, we have proposed some basic notions in language didactics that will serve as practical elements for teachers in charge of teaching the Amazigh language in Algerian schools. At the beginning of the book we have given a historical overview of the different pedagogical currents to introduce students to this field. Then we discussed the teaching methods (old and new) and the difference between them, the characteristics and mode of operation of each of them. We have also discussed the didactics and pedagogy and the purpose of each of them where a good part is devoted to the project pedagogy and the pedagogical project to introduce students to teaching. In the background of the book, we have devoted a part to the exploitation of literary texts in teaching. Finally, it is a didactic and pedagogical support for teachers of the Amazigh language that will serve them in their career and help them to better take charge of the teaching of the Amazigh language in schools.
