Molander at the University of Pennsylvania. Klappentext Kurti and Czako's Most Frequently Used Named Organic Reactions is an indispensable tool for both specialists and non-specialists in the field of organic chemistry. This innovative reference work includes 250 organic reactions and their strategic use in the synthesis of complex natural and unnatural products. Reactions are thoroughly discussed in a convenient two-page layout, using color for the first time in an advanced-level organic chemistry book. Each reaction includes a list of main features, a general scheme of the transformation, and a detailed arrow-pushing mechanism based on the latest experimental evidence. It then provides numerous examples demonstrating the synthetic utility of each reaction followed by a list of references. Due to its comprehensive coverage, superb organization, quality of presentation, and wealth of references, this long-awaited book belongs on the shelf of every organic chemist. Zusammenfassung Useful for specialists and non-specialists in organic chemistry.
