About the author










Jayne Bartlett is a Headteacher, author of Becoming an Outstanding Mathematics Teacher, Outstanding Differentiation for Learning and Outstanding Assessment for Learning, and series editor of the Make it Outstanding Series. She has worked for over 20 years in the education sector with a focus on curriculum and teaching and learning; ensuring that we provide opportunities for all students to succeed. She is passionate about capital in education. She invited Emma Housden, who has worked with her for 3 years, to contribute to authoring this book.
Emma Housden has worked in education for 11 years and has progressed from a teacher of mathematics to Deputy Headteacher overseeing all aspects of curriculum development.
