The management of waste electrical and electronic equipment has become a key issue in the preservation of the environment. This management occupies a very important place in the environmental management system of MTN Côte d'Ivoire because the management of environmental aspects is a source of preservation of its image in front of the stakeholders who have become very concerned about the ecological footprint of the company. The application of this approach to the E-waste project reveals an effective participation of individuals, while the participation of companies has remained low. Moreover, even if the objectives of the project in terms of collection have been achieved, it must be recognized that certain factors have limited the participation of companies. Finally, for those whose management of waste electrical and electronic equipment does not comply with the legal framework, they are liable to legal action and heavy fines.
