CP is a disability that poses several medical, educational and social difficulties. Its management is long and must be early and multidisciplinary in order to intervene in time to minimize the after-effects of this disorder with a maximum development of residual capacities. Thus, early detection of developmental abnormalities is fundamental to be able to offer the child the earliest and most appropriate care possible.Neurophysiological explorations have an important role in the early management of CP. Their usefulness has been proven from the neonatal period. They allow a prediction of the later prognosis, a search for infraclinical signs, a confirmation of associated signs, a per operative monitoring and a follow-up of the evolution. Hence a better management of children with CP to prevent sequelae and complications. A personalized therapy can thus be envisaged, according to the degree of objectivated handicap for a better social, educational and even professional integration of these children.
