Our task in this book is no other than trying to show that the double domination treated by our author undergoes significant changes to the point that it is possible to say that, in hypothesis, it has evolved. Our hypothesis came to life when we reviewed - during the preparation of our master's thesis that gave life to this text - most of Horkheimer's texts from the 1930s and the following decade, when we observed that the author talks about double domination without making any considerations about its specific variations.
