This book is intended to serve as a textbook for students of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry as well as for students of Agronomy, who are studying the subjects Animal Production Systems (APS), with emphasis on the design of systems based on lands that are granted by Decree Law 358/18, which allows a natural person to use in usufruct up to 10 cab. of land that has been declared idle for being infected with weeds, especially thorns, where the objective would always be to demonstrate in what time the designed project manages to make the SPA profitable, taking into account the Monetary Reorganization applied in Cuba from January 2021, which increased the basic salary and prices of all products. The first chapter is on cattle production, followed by one on pasture and forage, which includes production of food for pigs and poultry such as sunflower, soybeans, corn, etc. Then follows the chapter on pigs and then poultry, at the end of each chapter there are examples of projects carried out from land given in usufruct and in the annexes are included Decree-Law 358/18 and the PES Program.
About the author
Abschluss in Viehzuchttechnik 1980 und Master in Schweinezucht 1995, arbeitete in mehreren VC-Unternehmen, auch als Lehrer, derzeit als Assistenzprofessor für Zootechnik an der FCA der UCLV, hat Einsätze in Nicaragua als landwirtschaftlicher Berater und in Angola als Professor in der Abteilung für Biologie der Fakultät für Wissenschaften der Univ. Agostino Neto absolviert.
