The diabetic foot is defined as a group of cutaneous and osteoarticular lesions of the foot in this diabetic subject. The aim of our series was to analyse and evaluate the management of the diabetic foot in the surgical setting and to conduct a serene critique of our results. We report a 3-year retrospective series on the surgical management of the diabetic foot in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery Department 1 of the Hôpital Militaire d'Instruction Mohammed V in Rabat. We collected clinical, paraclinical and therapeutic data on all patients hospitalized for diabetic foot between January 2011 and July 2013 at the Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery Department 1 of the Mohammed V Military Hospital in Rabat. Statistical analysis of the data was performed using SPSS statistics 18.0 software.
