Foreword

  • Karen is an incredibly accomplished and well-connected woman who rolls with celebrities, media personalities, politicians, philanthropists, university presidents—a very im-pressive circle of influential people.
  • Karen produces the Next Level Women’s Summit, a conference for ambitious black women. She hosts Summits in five or six countries per year with around 200 women in attendance each time. (She would love to put a copy of Your Next Level Life into every woman’s gift bag at these events!)
  • Karen is a sought-after speaker. She has 12 speaking engagements confirmed up for 2019, including the Harlem Book Fair. (Note: I put a list of confirmed speaking engage-ments and dates on the following page).
  • Many of the Miss Black USA contestants and winners have large fan bases and social media followings and would happily promote Karen’s book. (Karen is a beloved men-tor/fairy godmother to these women!)
  • There are so many books on personal and professional growth, achieving goals, and creating a successful life written by white men and white women—but not as many books on these topics are published non-white/minority authors. It’s time to fix that! Black/minority readers want to see themselves represented in movies and TV shows and on bookshelves, too.

AUTHOR’S CONFIRMED 2019 SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS Karen is excited to promote her book at all of the following events. At some events, books can be purchased in bulk and put into gift bags for 100-200 VIP event guests. At others, she can promote the book from the stage, from her booth, in an email blast, etc.
  • Karen is hosting Next Level Women’s Summits in Athens, Greece, Dubai, Bali, Cape Town and Croatia in 2019 and would love to include the book in gift bags at these events.
  • Karen is speaking at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Annual Convention in July 2019.
  • Karen is speaking at the Harlem Book Fair in July 2019.
  • Karen is speaking at at Ubiquitous Expo in Washington, D.C. in August 2019.
  • Karen is speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus Author’s Pavilion in September 2019.
  • Karen will be a Judge at the Miss HBCU Hall of Fame Queens Competition in 2019.
  • Karen is speaking at the Empowerment Business Seminar at Ghana Fashion Week sponsored by Mercedez Benz in October 2019.
  • Also, Karen is attending a Holland America Cruise in January 2019 where Oprah Win-frey will be on board—and Karen is going to do everything in her power to secure a book endorsement from her. (Definitely a long shot—but if anyone can do it, it’s Karen!)
