The present work seeks to statistically validate the results of the prospective research method called Delphi, which consists of selecting experts in a specific area of study, consulting their opinions and finally reaching a consensus, with a certain level of reliability. This technique makes it possible to use expert judgments to glimpse new hypotheses or orientations in the specific field of technologies or in the processes of social and health change, mainly. The appropriate application of this method made it possible to find the factors that most influence the sales of the services offered by a mobile telephony company via telemarketing. The identification of these factors made it possible to study the behavior of user profiles and to carry out subsequent management processes in an efficient manner, in order to carry out specific marketing actions in the sales of these services.
