NEUROPHYSIOLOGY

There is a principle in biology that can be formulated as the principle of unity of structure and function. For example, the function of the heart (to push blood through the vessels of our body) is completely determined by the structure of the ventricles, valves, and other things. The same principle holds true for the brain.
