This book is a collection of life stories of young people followed in the framework of the "Aide Sociale à l'Enfance", co-written with the author. Their stories are not only a testimony to those who will read them, but also to themselves. For they become aware of their skills and abilities that they discover by telling themselves. Through the stories of these young people, the reader will realize the value of educational support, which is not only intended to help them fit into the norms of social life, but also and above all to contribute to their recognition as "unique and different subjects". This, it seems to me, is the very meaning of educational accompaniment, which has as its ultimate objective to allow each person accompanied to emancipate themselves and to express their humanity with pride. This is a book that is addressed not only to social workers, but also to socio-educational institutions, political decision-makers, and to anyone concerned with the emancipation of young people in difficulty.
