Analysis of export determinants of Beninese cotton fiber

This research focuses on the factors that influence the export of cotton in the Republic of Benin. The impact of certain variables was taken into account, such as the world price of cotton, the purchase price of cotton inputs, the average purchase price to producers, and the area of cotton planted, given that 98% of production in Benin is exported.The results of this study reveal that all of these variables strongly influence the export of cotton in Benin.
