    About the author

    Louise Baillie has a degree in history from Glasgow University. She was a journalist for almost 20 years and currently works in communications at a children's rights organisation. The idea for Spectacular Scottish Women, Louise's first book, came from wanting to write something her daughters would relate to and be inspired by. Louise loves running, playing tennis (badly), and the Scotland football team. She lives in Glasgow with her husband, two daughters, and their black lab.Eilidh Muldoon studied Art History and has an MFA in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, where she now teaches. Eilidh is the illustrator of picture books, children's books, and colouring and activity books in her distinctive, lively and decorative style. She grew up in North Berwick and currently lives outside Edinburgh, Scotland with her family.
