In order to enhance the role or the influence of the media in the consumption of food supplements, we proceeded to the transversal descriptive ethnobotanical survey which was carried out among the population of the municipality of Annaba (Algeria).According to the results we noticed that (76%) of the respondents consumed CA, and vitamins are the most sought after, indicating that most of the respondents used it to improve health (85%), for a cosmetological purpose, and during physical activity. Half of the respondents consumed CA to prevent and combat anemia and others to relieve the symptoms of functional colopathy.
