Logging is a process that brings together several actors of different nature and interest. The power held by these actors determines the flow of relationships in logging. In 2004, the Safbois forest concession was the scene of a conflict between the different actors involved in this activity. This situation is one of the reasons that led to the suspension of logging activities in the concession since that period. It should be noted that in addition to the conflict, the conversion of activity is motivated by economic reasons because REDD seems to be more profitable than logging. Since 2010, a new actor (Jadora) has entered the concession in place of Safbois. The main objective of this study is to construct the current model of relations between different actors in the Yafunga forest concession under the aegis of Jadora in comparison with that of Safbois. This should allow for an analysis of the dynamism of these relationships and an understanding of their causes.
