The pandemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) was responsible for recording millions of deaths, having as etiologic agent SARS-CoV-2 that induces a severe inflammatory response caused by hyperresponsiveness of the immune system depressing the immunity of the individual, leaving him susceptible to co-infections. Thus, opportunistic fungi such as Candida spp. In this sense, this paper aims to perform a literature review about case reports of patients affected by COVID-19 associated with invasive infection of Candida spp.
