Fabien Montcher is Assistant Professor of History at Saint Louis University. His work on the social history of knowledge and politics has been supported by the UCLA Clark Library, the Huntington Library, the American Council of Learned Societies, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Spanish Ministry of Culture, and the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.
