Widespread for its importance in the industrialization of nations, oil remains a highly coveted material. Hydrocarbons are omnipresent in our daily activities, providing the energy necessary or even indispensable for travel, heating and powering certain industries. Impossible to do without it, it is a major economic, financial and commercial factor. Given these considerable interests of fuels and petroleum products in general, poor quality causes the slowdown of activities and has impacts on the social and economic plan. The bad quality emanates from contamination, so the victims are the consumers. In this book we have analyzed how this contamination can happen, how to know that there is contamination through rapid analysis, and have proposed preventive and corrective actions that can be implemented, with particular attention to the management of interfaces at the reception of fuels.
