Faux Fire

This book is a collection of 52 sonnets, one for each week of 2022. They are essentially an act of therapy for the author. All 52 sonnets subscribe to the Shakesperean format, 3 quatrains and a couplet, using the abab cdcd efef gg rhyming scheme. The author is a casual poet only. His first degrees were in math and educational technology and his writing degree was in Children's Literature.

About the author

Clark grew up in Kitsap County, lived in Colorado, then California and returned to Washington over 10 years ago. His MFA thesis, "Mule Girl", is a story about the borax wagon days in California. He has three grown children. He sings, plays piano a little, and helps new authors publish their books. He has been involved with published over 3 dozen books since 2016.
