Kenneth Novak is Professor of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Gary Cordner is Academic Director in the Education & Training Section, Baltimore Police Department.

Brad Smith is Professor and Chair of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Wayne State University.

I've been using Police and Society for years and have never received a negative comment from a student. They get a lot of writing experience simply by following the book chapter by chapter, and I am certain that they finish the course with a robust understanding of the issues in policing. Nicely done!
