International cooperation in the search for criminals - Problems of theory and practice

The annual number of crimes of particular gravity and serious crimes is measured in the tens and hundreds of thousands, respectively. Obviously, this trend cannot but cause concern. It seems that a very effective way of influencing and counteracting crime is the operative-investigative activity. In the conditions of increasing integration of different countries of the world the mentioned activity, developing more and more dynamically, should react in time and prevent criminal elements. Currently, the number of criminals who have committed crimes on the territory of Russia is growing, and the statistics of their capture and trials leaves much to be desired.
