Here is a book that emerges from a research entitled: Didactic mastery of the teacher for the teaching of mathematics in the area of statistics and probability. The study is developed in a contextual way in the Santa Rita School located in the District of Panama, and the purpose of the research was to understand the main difficulties that arise from the perspective of the teacher and the student, namely teaching and learning in this particular content.The study is structured in chapters to offer a better understanding of the proposed problematic, a point of interest both in the educational field and in the conformation of the social and cultural extract of a whole population; since mathematics is considered by the author and many others a universal language that induces with its knowledge the perception of the level of intellectuality that a community can exercise.
