In the post-Soviet period several forms of government (Soviet, "hybrid," semi-presidential, and parliamentary) have changed in Armenia. The paper analyzes the system of objective conditions (level of development of civil society, state of political and party systems, foreign policy conditions, etc.) and, at the same time, the role and importance of subjective factors (interests, motives and goals of the direct developers of the relevant constitutional acts and state figures of "the highest rank"), which determined the specifics of the specific models of state government of the Republic and the need for their transformation. Special attention is paid to the study of the constitutional model of parliamentary government of the Republic. The gaps, contradictions and uncertainties of constitutional regulation are noted, which are largely due to the influence of narrow egoistic group and even personal interests on the content of constitutional provisions. The final conclusion: the need for the speedy reform of the 2015 reformed Constitution of the Republic of Armenia does not cause any doubts. The book is intended for political scientists and legal researchers, as well as practitioners in the field of politics and law.
