This study focuses on the overall airport productivity function of selected airports in Northern Nigeria using stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) as technique for the analysis through STATA version 7 software. Data collected from the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) from all the selected airports between 2001 and 2018 studied both Domestic and International Passengers in the study area. In the study. The study measure the operational performance of all the selected airports, the result of the study show that none of the airports under study were productive at 100% level of productivity because the SFA model removed the random noise that present in the variables used. The study recommended that airports in the study area can improve their technical efficiency by reducing their unit costs as well as some other inputs in order to increase efficiency.
