Before joining the Department of Anthropology at theUniversity of Aberdeen in 2005, where she is a senior lecturer andco-director (with Nancy Wachowich) of the Northern Colonialism:Historical Connections, Contemporary Lives program, she was ResearchManager for Human History at Glasgow Museums.
