The main objective of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the program "the art of self-acceptance" (AA), in the development of self-esteem in education students of the university for Andean development, for this a methodology was proposed under the quantitative approach and pre-experimental design, with a sample of 450 students and through a probabilistic sampling it was established to study 200 students; Initially, the Coopersmith test was applied, which was called pre-test, then a program called "The art of self-acceptance" (AA) was developed for the development of self-esteem, which was developed in 5 experiential sessions, and then the Coopersmith test was applied, which was called post-test; the general hypothesis of the program was also proposed: "The art of accepting oneself" (AA), significantly improves the development of self-esteem of the education students of the University for Andean Development", whose validity is based on the Wilcoxon hypothesis test which is a non-parametric test to contrast the pre-test with the post-test,.
