The most important direction in the field of solving the problem of stability of quarry slopes is a reliable substantiation of their parameters, especially the substantiation of the general angle of the pit wall to increase the economy of mining operations. Based on the achievements in the field of methods of calculation of stability of boards of open pits, development of mining complex, the solution of this problem is impossible without a comprehensive study and consideration of geological conditions of open-cast mining of mineral deposits. Among the geological conditions one of the most important places is the structure of rocks. The structure of the studied massif significantly affects its deformability and strength. The main structural features of the rock mass that determine its mechanical properties are fracturing and blockiness. This work is devoted to the development of methods for studying the structure of an instrumental rock massif using modern digital technology.
