This book is characterized by four parts: gender-based violence, GBV case management, gender inequality and women's protection. Gender-based violence (GBV) is one of the human rights violations that worsens in times of emergency. Women are often at risk of various forms of violence. Gender inequality is very noticeable, particularly in Africa. The protection of women is not applicable because we observe a lot of violence against women in all areas. In the deprivation of liberty, women prisoners become vulnerable and susceptible to abuse and ill-treatment that undermine their dignity and fundamental rights. They are often more at risk and vulnerable than men. This increased danger, and the forms of abuse to which women are subjected, are gender-specific. The woman is there for the pleasure of the man, to make him children, to obey him blindly, to carry out the household and field work. They had no right to the inheritance of their parents. We raise the alarm so that violence against women is eradicated.
