During physical education classes, exercise is an ideal space to promote good practices that lead to the improvement of physical and mental health of children and youth, which in this degree work is addressed to understand its various benefits in students.Research on the benefits of physical activity in childhood has increased significantly in recent years and, although there are risks associated with exercise, all scientific reviews, guidelines and organizations accept that the benefits far outweigh the risks.Physical activity is of great value to people and several studies have confirmed the effects of physical activity in adolescents to improve physical fitness and school performance, the present work wants to contribute to show how physical activity (Physical Education classes in an educational institution) improves academic performance and stimulates learning.
