Violence in the informal sector - Socio-labor variables and violence in workers of two tianguis in Zapopan Jalisco, Mexico.

Violence is a serious problem that occurs in different contexts, one of which is the workplace. The manifestations of violence can be of different kinds (verbal, physical, psychological abuse, social exclusion, sexual harassment), and the aggressions to which the victims are subjected can affect their physical, mental and social health.On the other hand, people who work in the informal sector do so in precarious conditions, without benefits, health services or retirement funds, and are exposed to various occupational hazards. Tianguis workers suffer from different forms of violence generated by co-workers, customers or city hall authorities.
