Growing up surrounded by a family of truck drivers, Ernest D. Hamilton, from Boones Mill, VA, learned what it meant to treat people fairly and to never give up on your dreams. Not surprisingly, Hamilton became a truck driver himself. Compelled to make a positive difference in the workplace and in the lives of his colleagues in the trucking industry, Hamilton stepped out of his comfort zone, and into management, where he faced enormous challenges.
