ABSTRACT Emotional and Behavioral problems are experienced by early adolescents, especially students. The study is an attempt to :tind out the Influence of personal correlates on Emotional and Behavioral problems of Early Adolescents. The total sample was 475 (Boys =240; Girls=235). Youth Self Report developed by Achenbach (2001) was used. The tool assesses emotional and behavioral problems of early adolescents between (11-18 yrs). A demographical questionnaire was developed by the researcher. This study followed a quantitative approach and makes use of descriptive and explanalory research techniques to attain its intentions. Random sampling technique was used. Analysis of the data was carried out by Mean, Standard deviation, t- test, one-way AN OVA, Post Hoc Tests and multiple correlations were computed by means of SPSS 10*^ version. The findings of the study points out that there was a significant influence between the demographical variables like gender, medium, place of stay, father education, father occupation, mother education, mother occupation, parental income, number of children, t5^es of school and types of syllabus with Emotional and Behavioral problems. Based on the findings of the study a set of recommendations were formulated.
